Autonieer for SketchUp
A solid, tagged SketchUp model: a group per storey with walls, openings, rooms and materials.
What it does
- Toolbar and dialog: sign in, generate with clarifying questions, insert, refresh, open in Autonieer
- Walls modelled as solids with real door and window openings; doors and windows as components
- Rooms as coloured floor faces; Tags follow the AIA layers
- Refresh replaces a storey group and keeps where you moved it
Install
- 01In SketchUp, open Extensions → Extension Warehouse, search for Autonieer and choose Install — or Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension with the .rbz file.
- 02Open Extensions → Autonieer → Sign in.
A direct download (autonieer-sketchup-0.1.0.rbz) will be offered here alongside the store listing.
Choose Sign in: the plugin shows an 8-character code and opens app.autonieer.com/device in your browser. Check that the code matches, pick the workspace and approve. The plugin only gets the permissions listed on that page, for that one workspace, and you can disconnect it at any time under Settings → Connected apps. Tokens are encrypted with Windows DPAPI or stored in the macOS Keychain.
Units and scale
Autonieer millimetres map straight onto SketchUp lengths, whatever the model's display units are.
Troubleshooting
- Extension Manager refuses the .rbz
- Until the Extension Warehouse-signed build is out, set the loading policy to “Unrestricted” in Extension Manager.
Still stuck? Report a problem and mention the SketchUp version.
